Terms of Service
Last updated August 26, 2026
UI Designs Co is a one-person web design business operated by Daniel in Queens, New York. These terms cover the website you are reading and the design work described on it.
1. The preview
A website preview is free. You text your business name, trade, and phone number; a working preview is built and sent to you, normally within 48 hours. Requesting a preview does not obligate you to buy anything, and no payment is required to receive one.
Turnaround times stated anywhere on this site — 48 hours for a preview, 5–7 days for a standard build, 10–14 days for a Signature build — are targets, not guarantees. They run from the date required content and approvals are received, and can move if that material is delayed.
Revision deposit ($200)
The free preview is the first pass. If you want changes made to it — or want the design directed a specific way from the outset, such as a particular style, reference sites, or a brand look to match — a $200 deposit is payable before that work starts.
This $200 is a payment for design time, not a deposit held on account. Once the revised or directed preview has been delivered it is non-refundable. If it is not delivered, it is refunded in full. If you go on to purchase a build, the $200 is credited toward the build price.
The deposit covers the revision work agreed at the time it is paid. Substantially new directions requested afterwards are quoted before any further work starts.
2. Builds and pricing
| Item | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Standard custom build | $1,000 one-time | Custom design, mobile-first, built-in local SEO setup, tap-to-call and tap-to-text, quote form, 2 full redesigns. |
| Signature build | $3,500 one-time $1,000 deposit to start, credited toward the price | Everything above, plus scroll-driven storytelling, custom motion design, and cinematic or 3D showcase work, customized to a design direction you supply. |
| Monthly plans | $149 / $349 / $697 per month | Optional after delivery. Hosting, maintenance and the features listed for each tier on the home page. |
"2 full redesigns included" means two complete visual reworks of the delivered site, and applies after a build is purchased. Revisions at the free-preview stage, before a build is purchased, are covered by the $200 deposit described in section 1. Further rounds, added pages, or new features beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately before any work starts.
Prices on this site are current as of the date above and may change for new projects. The price quoted to you in writing for your project is the price for that project.
3. Payment
The $200 revision deposit is due before revision work begins. A Signature build takes a $1,000 deposit before work begins, credited in full toward its $3,500 price. Build payment is due as agreed in writing before your site goes live, less any deposit already credited. Accepted methods are Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, and Square. Monthly plans bill monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time before the next billing date; cancelling ends future billing and does not refund the current month.
4. What you provide, and what you're responsible for
You supply the factual content of your site, and you are responsible for its accuracy. That specifically includes:
- Licenses, certifications and registrations — any license number, certification, or trade credential shown on your site must be real, current, and yours. New York City and New York State require certain trades to display license numbers in advertising, and your website is advertising.
- Insurance and bonding claims — statements like "licensed and insured" or "bonded" must be true of your business.
- Reviews and testimonials — every review on your site must come from a real customer who actually used your business. Federal Trade Commission rules prohibit fake, invented, or AI-generated reviews, and carry civil penalties.
- Warranties, guarantees, financing and pricing — must reflect what you actually offer.
- Images, logos and copy you supply — you must have the right to use them.
Demo content is never live content. Preview and demo sites contain placeholder businesses, sample reviews, sample credentials and sample phone numbers. All placeholder content is replaced with your verified information before a site goes live. If you ask for placeholder content to remain, that content becomes your representation, not mine.
5. Ownership
On receipt of final payment, the design and code produced for your site are yours. Until final payment, they remain mine. Third-party components — fonts, libraries, stock or generated imagery — remain under their own licenses, and those licenses pass to you as-is.
Unless you ask otherwise in writing, I may show your finished site in my portfolio.
6. Accessibility
Sites are built toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA as a design target — keyboard navigation, visible focus, labeled form fields, text alternatives, and adequate contrast. Accessibility depends in part on content added after delivery. Formal accessibility conformance auditing and certification are not included in a build and are quoted separately. See the accessibility statement.
7. Text messages
Texting 917-245-8685 starts a conversation about your project; you can stop it at any time by replying STOP or simply not replying. If your plan includes automated messaging to your customers — appointment reminders or review requests on the Grow and Dominate plans — you are responsible for having each customer's consent to be texted, and those messages must offer a working opt-out. I will build the opt-out; you must honor it.
8. The chat assistant on this site
The chat window on this site is an automated assistant, powered by a third-party AI service. It is there to answer common questions and pass your details along. It can make mistakes. Nothing it says is a binding quote or a contract. Prices, timelines, and scope are confirmed by me directly, in writing, before any work begins.
9. Limits
I don't guarantee business results. Nothing on this site promises a number of calls, leads, customers, search ranking, or revenue. Statements like "pays for itself with the clients it brings in" describe intent, not a promise of outcome.
To the fullest extent the law allows, total liability for any claim arising out of a project is limited to the amount you actually paid me for that project. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business.
Hosting of your delivered site is provided at no charge and is not conditional on taking a monthly plan. The plans add backups, security monitoring, uptime monitoring and ongoing upkeep; they are not what keeps the site online. Your domain is registered in your name and remains yours, and the annual registrar fee is yours to pay.
Hosting, domains, email, payment processors and other third-party services are outside my control and carry their own terms and uptime.
10. Cancelling
You can walk away at the preview stage at no cost. Once a build has started, work completed to that point is billable at the agreed rate; if you cancel a build before delivery, you pay for what was done and nothing further.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Queens County, New York.
12. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows when. The terms in effect when your project is agreed apply to that project.
